Since beginning this massive community project of providing a home for this deserving family well over a year ago the momentum has yet to slow. To date, we have raised 65% of the goal of $200,000.00 through individuals and businesses not only from within the Sheridan community area but from across the country as well.
This coming April will mark the 5 year anniversary of Hilary’s accident. With the home totally weathered in and the construction of the inside walls under way, the Herberts are anxiously waiting to the completion of their home. This home has a wing specifically designed for Hilary and her rehabilitation needs while the rest of the home is exactly that – a home – where the Herberts will once again have the opportunity and space to enjoy quality family time. Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns is thrilled to have been a part of this awe-inspiring experience.
While the project is on nearing completion there is still plenty of work to be done – not only the physical labor of finishing the home - but completing the fundraising as well. If you have not already done so, please take the time to watch the video and pass it on to your friends, family colleagues…anyone that you think might be able to help complete this community project. No donation is too small.
